Where to See It Gardens and damp leaf litter, heard everywhere after dark

You will hear it long before you sleep: a clear, two-note whistle repeated through the warm dark, the very sound of a Grenadian night. The whistling frog is tiny, barely the size of a thumbnail, and hides among damp leaves and garden pots. It needs no pond at all, hatching straight from the egg as a perfect miniature frog.
