Where to See It Sunny branches near the coast and along rivers

A small dragon for the price of a glance upward. The green iguana lazes along branches overhanging water, dropping in with a splash if disturbed. Despite the fearsome crest and dewlap, it is a peaceable vegetarian, grazing on leaves and fruit. Adults can reach well over a metre, much of it tail. Look for them draped in the midday sun.
